Petite Provence Farm
Lavender, Honey & Related Sundries
Our Story
The Petite Provence Lavender Farm began as a simple gardening project to master the art of keeping lavender plants alive in what is a very hostile and sometimes unpredictable Indiana eco-system. With many planting failures, some help from the wild turkeys, and a LOT of determination, our plants began to thrive. We now are home to a 200+ plant lavender labyrinth. This 80ft. diameter, lavender pathway is designed for meditation, and is shared with our tiny, two hive bee colony. Today, our goal is simple: share with you our learning, lavender, and honey and do our part to protect and increase the honeybee population here in northwestern Indiana.
We care for our lavender and bees without the use of herbicides or pesticides, which makes for healthier bees and a happier planet!
